The Government’s efforts to boost cashless payment have shown signs of paying off, with both the number of transactions and their total value seeing double-digit growth in the first months of the year.
More and more banks are entering the e-wallet business as they see huge growth potential in the wake of the Government’s plan to reduce cash payments to below 10 per cent of all transactions by 2020.
HDBank’s women customers will receive a refund of 30 percent of the value of the bills they pay using its eBanking system from October 18 to 31 in case of transactions of at least VND100,000 (US$4.28).
